This dual feed foot, also known as a walking foot, has a dual feed motion – feed dogs on the foot work in conjunction with your machine’s feed dogs (under the stitch plate) to move multiple layers of fabric evenly through your machine. It is ideal for quilting, sewing velvet, stretch fabrics, imitation leathers and fabrics that need precise pattern matching. It screws into place on the shaft when machine ankle is taken off.
