Tutor - Gilli Theokritoff
Gilli is an experienced quilter and teacher and has won awards for her contemporary quilts. She is keen to encourage new quilters with her lively and engaging classes. Gilli teaches around the country and occasionally exhibits her work.

Sampler Quilt
This class is ideal for those new to quilting or those who would like to build on existing skills. Each month you will work on a variety of different blocks, exploring different techniques, including applique, complex piecing, curved seams, foundation piecing, etc
There’s a variety of quilts to choose from Farmers Wife, Urban Folk, Sew a Row or Modern. If you’re looking for a shorter project there’s also a table runner.

Each individual quilt has its own requirements list which you can view and download (To Follow Soon)
During the first session the tutor will discuss your requirements and if you require it give help with your fabric choices.

Requirements list for the first session:
Basic sewing equipment to include scissors, pins, fabric markers etc
Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
There are limited supplies of mats to use in the classroom, bringing your own may save you waiting.
5 fat quarters – colours of your choice
If you want to purchase the background fabric prior to the class you will need approx. 2.5mt
