I would like to thank your business for the most excellent service. I ordered 2 feet for my sewing machine on line on Sunday evening, 17.02.19, I received a phone call reference my order on Monday morning, 18.02,19, about 9.30 - 10. I had ordered the wrong foot and your staff were checking my order; this saved a return on my part.

The 2 feet arrived yesterday, 19.02.19, by 10.00 am !!!

The young lady on the phone was most helpful. She wasn't sure on one point and got more information and phoned me back to double check. Please award your staff a big pat on the back.

I have just purchased some software so more learning. I have often phoned Anna for advice and help and she is so patient and kind as are all the staff. I forgot to oil my 40-year-old Toyota machine recently, to my shame, and it seized up. I had it serviced at Coles a year ago and it had run perfectly until now. I contacted Coles again and they agreed to pick up, deliver, and return, which is a life-saver as I live near Newark. It came back sewing perfectly, but with an unexpected noises that suggested something had gone wrong in the bobbin compartment.

Neil responded to my email while he was actually on holiday, The following week he called by, in person, to check my machine and explain to me what was causing the sound as it ran, and reassured me that I wouldn't cause further damage by continuing to sew.

Such great personal service is to be prized and I'd recommend anyone to think of Coles first if you're in the Nottingham area. If my ancient Toyota finally fades, I'll be back to Coles looking for a reconditioned older machine. Super service, pleasant and down-to-earth people:  pleased that I got in touch last year.

I've had quite a bit of contact with Coles over the last few months. Whether visiting the store to purchase my lovely Opal 690Q in April, or for my new owner's course in June, or phoning for enquiries or mail order purchases; I've received excellent service. The staff are lovely and helpful - I can't praise them enough. It's well worth making a special trip to Nottingham. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I am not a sewing machine owner but contacted Coles about a friend who had purchased a Husqvarna overlocker in May 2016 from a different supplier.

This supplier had prevaricated about a repair, including having the machine for two months in 2017 and returning it unrepaired and in an even worse state. They then suggested that the machine should be sent to Poland. From the moment I contacted them Coles could not have been more helpful, and having heard the story arranged for the machine to be collected and repaired under warranty. It was returned fully working very quickly. These are good people to deal with and I highly recommend them.  Phillip SL6 3HS

My old Toyota sewing machine has just come back from a service and spruce-up from Coles. It's now running beautifully again and I'm delighted to be able to keep the old girl going for a bit longer! As I live out in Newark, it's great to discover Coles offers a pick-up and return service, and the service itself only took a week - fantastic custome service all round. If only I lived closer I would be a regular visitor to the shop. As it is, I'll pop in when next in Nottingham and meanwhile will keep an eye on future workshops you run - might just treat myself to one in the near future. Just a quick thank you to you Rose and Neil for the most amazing customer service. Having bought a second hand Diamond Royal from Coles we found some problems with my embroidery unit update and by the time I finished the course everything had been sorted by your kind engineers. I have just attended Liz Hanbury's class, Pictogram Quilt Block, what a really good day was had by all who was on this course, time went so quickly that no sooner had we started than it appeared to be  time to go home! A lot of hints and tips were passed on, Liz being a mine of information.

We also had an unexpected visit from two gentlemen from Husqvarna head office and Sweden who were interested in what we were making and which machines we owned. All in all it was a really good day with a lovely quilt block to take home to either make into a cushion or the start of a quilt!

I just wanted to thank you for my order which arrived today. A speedy, accurate process, which is in no way painful.  I say this, as at this time of year when delivery services are stretched, orders can take much longer, some are taking far too much longer and those people I refuse to use again.  But I am so pleased to say that will not be the case with your good-selves.  
I don't get out as much now due to disability issues, but I do hope that at some point in the New Year I will be able to visit your store, as I am positive I will need more items for my Topaz 30.

Hi, I attended the new owners course for my Sapphire 930 yesterday.I was delighted with it. It was very well organised, i learned a lot and the pace was excellent. My questions were all answered, mostly without having to ask. This shop is full of very friendly and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to help. My machine was carried in as I couldn't lift it and Neil did a small repair during our lunch break. It was good to use some of the accessories but no pressure to buy.

I feel I must thank you for the really brilliant Diamond Weekend I have just attended. My thanks go to the tutors, staff on the shop floor and of course Lee who serviced my machines.
I would like to thank Anna for her patience on the software class (Sunday afternoon!), I usually use  the TruE embroidery software on an Apple Mac therefore I felt totally out of my comfort zone using a Windows computer with Premiere + software as this was alien to me (nothing was where I expected it to be, hope I haven't lost anything Neil!), but Bless her, Anna didn't get frustrated with me, even though I got frustrated with myself! Knowing what I will be able to achieve once I receive my TruE upgrade package I now can't wait for it to arrive.
I did feel it was a good idea to have the ladies who own an Epic in one area as we were able to help each other.
To finish I would like to say that the buffet was  the best I have had for awhile.

Hi Rose and Neil, Just wanted to say thank you for the "away day" Epic course, I found it was a very full day and hopefully what I learnt  will be put into practise without me forgetting what we were shown. I was also reminded of hints and tips that I had been shown before but had forgotten about. I love my Epic even more than before now I can see what can be achieved with the numerous stitches included Oh and thank you Neil for making the coffees you make a lovely cup of coffee!

We drove for 4 hours from N Cheshire, and after driving around and around Nottingham (completely lost!), we arrived at the shop and were immediately offered a warm drink & warm welcome.
Our machine and additional items were taken from us quickly and were passed to the engineers for attention. We were told it'd be a couple of hours; in fact it was less. This was a big surprise for us, as a previous 'sewing shop' we'd used were nowhere near as efficient, and welcoming, as Rose and Neil!
So now, back home, we can happily report that our Husqvarna machine is now working better than ever before, and Natasha is more than happy!!
In addition, the selection of items offered in Coles is very very good; from threads to materials and patterns to accessories.
Also, Natasha is planning to return sometime soon, to participate in one of the 'sewing courses' Coles offer. (Maybe quilting??)
All in all - Coles is a great shop, with great owners, and is a 'must visit' place to see, if your hobby is embroidery, and you're visiting Nottingham.

Designer weekend.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in making the Designer weekend run so smoothly. A weekend packed with lots of interesting ideas / projects for us to bring home and plenty of ideas to try. Looking forward to receiving Jamie's notes for the Mac from his software class.
 An excellent buffet was provided, all in all a very full, informative, 3 day ( including Jamie's Friday) weekend.

Hurrah, hurrah and hoooooooooooraaaaaah. It's arrived. Picked it up about 1/2 hour ago and set it up. It looks great and fits  perfectly. I'll be sewing within the hour, bigger and better projects (well I don't know about better!!!).

I had a problem with a machine which hadn't originally been purchased from this shop. I phoned up to enquire whether Coles could help out and the company have treated me with the best customer service I have experienced for a long time; with every phone call I made or email I sent, every member of staff has been helpful and polite. I rely heavily on on-line retail as I live in the Shetland Islands and dealing with companies from a distance can sometimes be a gamble, but Coles have proven themselves to be one of the best for customer care and service.  I really did enjoy all the workshops  and nice to have a chance to try to get to grips with 5D stitch editor + and Rose, having found all those stitch combinations in those U menus from last time  - I might even start to use them..!
 I  loved the show and tell sessions as well - as we can all learn from each other too..

Just wanted to say Thank You Helen and Rose for the Gold Thread Day,it was a wonderful day and lunch. Watching Helen demonstrate made me realise that I had forgotten various functions that my Topaz could do whilst in the sewing mode-I nearly always use it for embroidery! So for me it was a very worthwhile and sociable event, PLUS we went home with a finished article,that has to be a bonus!

my wife urgently required two replacement accessories for her Husquvarna 230 electronic sewing machine.  We tried our local dealer in Norwich who declined to help stating that they had great difficulty in getting parts, having contacted the main U.K. centre we were told that they didn't deal with the public and suggested we contacted you.
My wife rang last week and spoke to a very pleasant and helpful young lady.  The result was that we received a phone call detailing all the prices and took an order over the phone.  We received the parts within a couple of days.
The purpose of this email is to say how grateful we are for an extremely efficient, courteous and  pleasant service, your company is a credit to the Husqvarna dealership.

I have just ordered a Designer Diamond Deluxe this week from Coles Sewing Centre in Nottingham (new name for Husqvarna Studio).
Having a wonderful dealer helped me so much as Helen answered all my questions and doubts during many telephone calls. I am going to do the 2 day course they offer for free later. It is almost 200 miles to the shop, but they are well known to be the best in England.

Thank you COLES SEWING CENTRE LTD for the fast service given to my order. I placed an order on Sunday (25th Sept) in the afternoon and I received a well packaged parcel this morning (27th Sept) first post (8:30am).
The name may have changed from Husqvarna Nottingham to Coles Sewing Centre but the standard of service has certainly not changed.

I recently purchased a Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 (secondhand), and would just like to express my thanks to Neil for changing the floppy disk model to a USB version. Your update is very much appreciated. Also for supplying the CD - 4D Disk Manager
The staff I have spoken to on the telephone and at the shop were very customer orientated and extremely helpful.
I look forward to using the machine, when I have mastered it, which I am sure will take some time.
With the staff at your shop, it is no wonder that you highly spoken of.
