Textile Tutor

Established 25 years ago and based in Nottingham, Coles Sewing Centre is an independent sewing retailer. They also have a sewing school and are currently looking for creative people to add to their team of tutors.

They are in search of creative textile tutors to join their team. Qualifications in teaching are not necessarily required but being able to share your creative skill is essential.

Desirable requirements:

  • Passionate about your creative skill
  • Enthusiastic and interested in other people’s creativity
  • Inspirational and motivating
  • Good planning and preparation skills

The Role

Day to day duties will include:

  • Assisting customers with purchases
  • Processing payments
  • Provide a high quality service to the customers
  • Advise customers on purchases relevant to them
  • Learn detailed information on the products and services offered to be able to offer them to customers appropriately
  • Learn to communicate effectively with customers
  • Understand the business and the business goals
  • Work as part of a team

About the employer

Large UK Dealer of Husqvarna Viking Sewing products and Licensed Credit Brokers - Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for Credit Brokerage. In addition they sell threads, haberdashery, run sewing courses, service and repair all makes of sewing machine, and offer fabrics. Based in Nottingham but will work across the UK as required.
