Please note, this is a special order item - we do not keep it in stock, so it may take a little longer to get to you. Metal foot to flawlessly guide decorative stitching along an edge.
The Edge/Joining Foot guides decorative stitching along an edge perfectly and is particularly useful for fine pintucks and topstitching very close to an edge (e.g. on a shirt). The tunnel on the bottom of the foot allows stitches to form perfectly and feed flawlessly. The flange along the edge of the foot keeps the distance between the edge of the fabric and the stitching consistent.
Information on use: 1. Snap on the Edge/Joining Foot. 2. Place the seam or marked line under centre flange of the foot. 3. Select the decorative stitch of your choice. For topstitching, choose either a centre or left needle alignment, with a 2-4mm stitch length. For joining, choose a stitch length of 2-3mm and a stitch width of 4-7mm. 4. Sew, keeping the flange aligned with the seam or line as you sew.
