Pattern name: Juniper Skirt Size range: 18 months to 6 years Skill level: Absolute Beginner
Description Quick and simple to make, Juniper is a versatile pattern for little girls. Sewn in cotton it’s great for summer, but worn with warm tights it’s equally perfect for cooler winter days.
The Juniper Skirt has two variations, which make it either a super quick make, or a fun sew with a few more details. Version A is a simple knee length gathered skirt with an elasticated waistband. Version B has a flat front waistband with comfy elastic at the back and features a smooth top yoke and a full gathered skirt attached.
Like all Poppy + Jazz patterns, the sizes are nested to make it easier to grade between the sizes, depending on the child’s measurements.
Fabric suggestions Nice and easy to sew, the Juniper Skirt works best in light to medium weight fabrics such as cotton poplin, lawn, denim, chambray, linen, quilting cottons and corduroy.
